The Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Crime Reduction Partnership was primarily established in 2005 as the cynon Valley Business Crime Partnership to combat crime in Aberdare Town Centre.

 

In 2008 the scheme was re-branded as the Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Crime Reduction Partnership to recognise the evolution of the scheme to a holistic crime reduction partnership which addresses all types of crime and antisocial behaviour that have a detrimental effect on the town centres within the County Borough.

What is the Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Crime Reduction Partnership (RCTBCRP)?

The RCTBCRP is an intelligence led proactive approach to crime reduction. It is the only business led partnership in Rhondda Cynon Taf that will help you to combat crime and anti-social behaviour in your area.
Our aim is to work in partnership with the Police and local authorities to combat crime and anti-social behaviour within the area.

We aim to:

• Increase staff safety and confidence
• Reduce the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour
• Create a safer shopping environment
• Improve communications between retailers, pubs restaurants and clubs
• Reduce stock loss
